Dogs at the beach

I am lying on the beach when I heard some barks. Bark! Bark! Bark! I sit up. I see two dogs playing in the shallow water. The water splashes like a sprinkler all over the dogs. They are playing joyfully under the lite blue sky. Oh no I see a stick flying through the air. The big black and white dog is running after the stick. But. The little black and brown dog is running the other way. Crash! They crash together. Splosh! They have fallen over now.

The Dive - William

On a bright summers morning i'm in mid air underneath the water. I have just jumped off a huge rock this is my first time because I have never been brave enough to jump off a huge rock but today I thought I could do it. My t-shirt is waving in the air like someone has just pumped my up with air. I am even more frightened because the rock under neath me looks like a very sharp rock and the water looks like it is smashing against the rocks like glass. I am wondering will the water smash like glass at me. OK to be honest I am not so glad that I have done it now. My heart is pounding like a drum and the water looks very salty

The cat and budgie

Hi,I'm cat right now I'm sleeping. When I woke up and saw as I should say coluorful bird in his cage flying around like he was happy, but he was not happy, he was trying to get out of the metal cage. Bird is a budgie a colourful striped budgie. I'm a lazy ginger cat. Ok ,where was I, oh yes, so I helped bird get out of his cage. Bird was now happy and I was tired  . Bird asked me if I wanted to be his friend and I said yes. Then we started staring out the cold wet window because there was a crazy dancing squiruel in a pine tree. But then we got bored of watching a dancing squiruel. After that the door bell rang or was it a phone that rang, oh well. So I picked up the phone  ( I found out what the ringing thing is) and a human was on the other side of the noisy phone. The human said hello, then I said hello back and the human thought I said meow. After  I talked on the phone I went back to stripey bird. Bird said "who was on the phone"  then I said " A HUMAN " then bird said that humans don't under stand us because we're animals. Then I saw the not cool kitten edward people say that he's soooo cute but I am soooooo cutewitch is two more o's then edward. So edward knocked on the door. Budgie opened the door and said who is this and I said it's edward. Edward had a note it said I can come to his party tonight. I told edward I'm not coming to his party. Then me and bird went outside to the playground to play tag with dog. ( dog is our friend ) Bird never got tagged because he can fly. So then I said no flyerying, and bird and dog agreed that you are not aloud to fly. After the tag game we went back home. Then we went outside and bird put his wings in the sky to get everyones attention. then we went home to go to bed. In the morning we well I had fish and milk and bird had seeds and water.

The boy's heart pounding while he's in the air. The jandals sitting  abandoned. The boys clothes blowing like a tornado. The sea smells like salt in water. The ground feels hard like stones. The boys hands swimming. The water is a turquoise blue.

Springston School Care Code

Well here it is. After gathering your ideas, Holly and Ursula wrote the song. The boys then helped make the movie. It is our job to learn the song and use it every day.

Lets 'Help the Earth' and make our school an 'awesome place'.

Disclaimer: No animals or children were harmed in the making of this movie!

The dogs @ the beach - Molly N

Yap yap yap I hear behind my magazine. I see two yaping dogs playing joyfully in the salty water. They are splashing up and down on their hind legs. The splashing looks like diamonds exploding out of the water as the clouds paint the blue sky.

The big brodercollies fur felt like hay and his eyes shimmer like the blue sky. The big black bodercollie is on his hind legs ready to splash down on the little snawser!

what will happen next?

Cat and budgie -Molly N

The cat that looked like Garfield and the budgie that looked green and yellow were planning their evil scheme on the fat old dog.

 They were interrupted by the ugly dogs irritating bark. We need to get rid of that fat old dog Garfield said fiercely.

 Garfield said to the dogs look at the beautiful view and the dogs said we are not fooling for that but budgie had a idea. To threw the ball outside the window so budgie did and all the dogs rain to get the ball. The ball went out the window and so did the dogs and out they fell onto the hot steaming BBQ without the ball. Budgie and garfield shouted yay and lived happily ever after...

yes budgies and cats can be best friends.
we forgot to keep our first story that we have fixed in buddie writing we put paragraphs in it and spelling mistakes and fullstops.

Take A Dive - Max W

One beautiful day.
I leaped off the sandy cliff into the turquoise water. I see Cliffs crumbling like a biscuit going into a mouth. Ripples wriggling like blueberries in the ocean. I have never seen the glow of the pieces of the emerald green seaweed. Dreadlocks hanging from the air as my hair flies.
Splash! Crash! Hope he doesn't hurt himself.

Buddy Writing: Cat & Parrot - Brigid

One day, on a frosty morning all was quiet apart from the loud howling from the dog in the garden. Now your going to be wondering, why I am staring out the window with a parrot by my side, and I am not munching away at him.

 Well he is my best friend Oliver. He says I am his hero because I saved him from that dreaded dog. Oliver was half way down the dogs tummy, when I got off MY lazy tummy and booted the dog up the back side. That's why he is howling now!

Today its the 15 of may, that dog ate my brother's mother. So me and Oliver decided that he has to go, we looked out the window, the dog was trying to catch his tail. I looked at the BBQ, then the dog, then my tummy it started going bubbly.

"Are you hungry, " I asked Oliver, he looked down at his tummy, it went bubbly as well "yes why, " he said well I was thinking that dog is a dread, and tomorrow night it's taco tuesday, and for the mince you need a BBQ, and we like dog mince,what are you trying to say? asked Oliver. LET'S PUT THE DOG ON THE BBQ! I shouted.

 Brilliant, just brilliant, shouted Oliver you brilliant, lazy cat. I love it, I love it, I love it, intro, intro, intro. He took a breath in and out, O.k so if were going to do this properly, we need to make a list:

* Be hungry.

* Get BBQ cause.
* Get tomato cause.
* Taco shells.
* Dog!

Plan attack:

We got the dog with the sleepy bow, and carried the dog to behind the BBQ, were humans could not find him.

Next we put the in the mince and dog on the BBQ to cook.
After that we ate the dog for supper, and now we have a full tummy!

Wof came a sound, oh no it was the dog's boney body with no flesh on it, coming right our way!

Find out what happen's next in the cat and parrot 2!

Moment in Time: Dogs at the Beach by Taylor

The dogs The dogs are playing in the beach wait a minute are they playing or are they tackling each other. I don't know. How about we just say they are or is the big dog running over the small dog.

The big dog is looking in the distance. At who knows what.

Their fur is DRENCHED. The water around them is SPLASHING like glass braking on the Lino.

Moment in Time: The dogs at the beach by Ursula

I look down to sea from the wharf, I see two dogs jumping around, splashing and yapping happily.
I run down to see them better, still when I get there playing in the water leaping in the salty sea.
The eyes of the big dog I just can't stop watching them. His eyes glow as blue as the dreamy Milky Way.
On the other hand the little dog yapping , hazel like wheat and its sort charcoal black fur, thickened by the light blue sandy water. The little dogs whiskery face sticking up like hay. Both of the dogs playing around.
I'm walking back to the wharf. I'm packing up my things to go home. I look at the dogs one more time then I walk home.

Moment in Time: Dogs at the beach by Max W

0n the summer day, there are two dogs gliding like dolphins in the warm, salty water. The white and black dog is about to step on the dog. The waves look like jelly ripples wriggling.  The blue eyes glowing of the black and white dog. The smooth water, is sparkling like diamonds. Wispy clouds floating like hover-boards.

The little dog is trying to get the stick and boom! Crash! They crashed together when the big dog wasn't looking.

The Dogs - by Darcie

On a nice sunny day, I'm at the beach.

I see two dogs sprinting through the water. The two dogs are splashing each other with icy cold, colourful water. The Boder collies coler  is a shadow black and gold brond's. The other dogs fur is  black and gold like a mop that's soaking wet. The Boder collies fur is black and white like a patterned cow. The Boder collies tail is really long Like a black and white string of yarn.The dogs nosies are black like a smooth stone. The dog with the black and gold  fur is really wet that you can't see his eyes. The dogs are playing like little tiny kittens.

The water that the two dogs are splashing in is blue,brown and light green. The water is like a smooth stone. The water is as cold as a ice wall. The Boder collie is staring at a tennis ball lying on the soft ground like a sea shell. The boder collie is leaning on the other dog. The dog with the black and gold fur is as cute as a little kitten.

Buddy Writing - Bird and Cat Buddies

What am I?
I have black scaly wings with tips flapping in the wind. I have a little patch of grass green shaped like a jellybean in the middle of my back. I have a short lemon beak.

My best friend is a ginger cat almost the same size as me. We have been friends since I was born. My best friend looks like a ball of fluff.

I soar through the sky like an airplane. I can complete 5 loop-de-loop in a row.

Written by Holly and Tegan, with the help of their buddy Zoe

Best friends: Buddy Writing

Who said that cats and budgies can't be best friends? I'm an ordinary old budgie with bright green layers of feathers but my friend is not so ordinary. It is 'Ginge' the cat.

It all happened last year when he arrived as a tiny ball of fur. He looked like a delicious wriggly 'ginger kiss' but as I went to take a peck, he snarled, "Cut that out!" I nearly fell off my perch. In all my years I have never heard a cat talk.  Well not so that a bird could understand!

We became great friends. I, the brilliant budgie, would battle his annoying fleas. He, the cuddly ginger giant, would let me sleep cuddled up to him at night. People thought that cats and budgies could never be friends but we are best mates forever.

Our favourite things to do is to stare out the window on rainy days to tease the neighbour's dog. Ginge wailed like a tortured siren while I stared with my beady eyes. The dog would whimper with his head hanging low. He tried to sneak past but we were always waiting like soldiers on duty.

So when your owner brings back some animal that should be your enemy, remember that it could become your very best friend.
