The crashing waves at Waimari Beach thundered, crashed and drenched us.
Our sandcastles were skyscrapers touching the floating clouds.
Stinging blue jellyfish waited quietly in the sand ready to sting like a knife.
Children in a line fighting the waves to 'high-five' parents.
We really enjoyed our beach trip.
